Volunteer Neighbourhood Co-ordinators Required

Durham Constabulary currently have a number of volunteers assisting at most stations in the force and it has been decided to utilise volunteer co-ordinators to assist Neighbourhood Inspectors manage volunteers at their stations which will be beneficial to both the force and the volunteers.

There is already a co-ordinator in place at Durham City who is working extremely well with the volunteers and alongside the Neighbourhood Inspector

We are currently looking for someone to volunteer as a co-ordinator in the following areas

Derwentside – based at Consett covering Consett and Stanley
Easington – based at Peterlee covering Peterlee & Seaham

We will also most likely need someone at Darlington & Bishop Auckland, this will be confirmed as soon as the relevant Neighbourhood Inspectors get back to me.
I would be grateful if you could circulate this to your members and ask anyone who may be interested to contact me on 03456060365 ext 6612660 so I can explain in more detail what will be involved.
