Death of a retired Police Officer : PC 612 Frank Charles Reeves

It is with regret that we have to announce the death of a retired Police Officer :  PC 612 Frank Charles Reeves, who passed away on the 9th February 2019. He was aged 92 years.
He does not leave a widow.
The funeral will be taking place on the 27th February 2019 at 13.45pm at Peterlee Methodist Memorial Church. The service is not private.
Donations have been requested in lieu of flowers to Leonard Cheshire Disability.
Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.

Death of a retired Police Officer : Mr Thomas LOWERY

It is with regret that we have to inform you of the death of a retired Police Officer : Mr Thomas LOWERY, 88yrs who died on 27th January 2019.
Tommy who resided in Whitburn, served in Durham County and Northumbria Forces.
starting in Stockton before moving to Whitburn..
He was a member of NARPO, Sunderland.
His Funeral will take place at Sunderland Crematorium, at 1400hrs on Friday 15th February 2019

Death of a retired Police Officer : PC 1048 Anthony Bryn (Tony) Stainthorpe

It is with regret that we announce the death of a retired Police Officer: PC 1048 Anthony Bryn (Tony) Stainthorpe: who passed away on the 27th January 2019, he was aged 74 years.
He leaves a widow, Margaret and four sons
Tony initially joined West Midlands Police and after completing his Probation was posted onto their Traffic Branch and Motorway unit.
On transferring back home to Durham he was soon transferred to traffic patrols. Tony also served on the Accident Unit before transferring to CID and the Stolen Vehicle Squad from where he retired on the 11th February 1993.
The funeral service will be taking place on the 14th February 2019 at 12.15pm and will be held at St Cuthbert's Church, North Road, Durham.
The funeral service is not private and everyone is welcome.
Following the service friends and colleagues are invited to the Indoor Bowling Centre at Durham for refreshments
Donations have been requested in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie.
