Death of Jean Exley : (wife of Durham NARPO member Keith Exley)

It is with regret that we have to inform you of the death of a Durham NARPO members (Insp. Keith Exley) wife, Mrs Jean Exley.
Jean died on March 31st, aged 76 years.
Jean was the dearly loved mam of Russell and Andrew, much loved gran of Joshua.
Funeral service and committal to take place at Wear Valley Crematorium, on Tuesday, April 16th at 11.30a.m.
Family and friends welcome, donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired to Cancer Research UK.
Our thoughts are with family at this sad time.

Ignore any – ‘Group Life Assurance - reply before Friday’ emails

The Federation Computer at Leatherhead has been the subject of an attack. It is not believed that any personal information has been obtained BUT The Durham Federation Office has had over ten enquiries recently  from Retired Officers about an email headed "Group Life Assurance - reply before Friday". This is not from the The Police Federation or from the Insurance provider.

Any person in receipt of such an email is advised to delete it immediately.

Death of a retired Police Officer: PC 661 Neville Burdon

It is with regret that we have to announce the death of a retired Police Officer: PC 661 Neville Burdon. He passed away on the 21st March 2019,  aged 89 years.
Neville retired from Barnard Castle  on the 7th March 1984.
The funeral service will be taking place on Wednesday 10th April 2019 at 3:30pm at Coundon Crematorium.
The funeral service is not private and everyone is welcome.
Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested to the British Heart Foundation.
