It is with regret that we have to announce the death of a retired Police Officer : Supt. 282 Frank Pickering, who died on the 27th February 2017.
He was aged 88 years.
Mr Pickering was a Sgt in cadet training in the early seventies & subsequently served at Seaham & Chester le Street, retiring from Durham Constabulary in 1986.
Mr Pickering does not leave a widow.
The funeral will be taking place on the 15th March 2017 at 11am at the Chapel at Ropery Lane Cemetery, Chester le Street. The service is not private.
