Death of a retired Police Officer : DC 242 Graham Johnson

It is with regret that we have to announce the death of a retired Police Officer : DC 242 Graham Johnson, who died on the 9th August 2020, aged 62 years.
Graham joined Durham Constabulary in 1987 and initially served at Seaham.
He then served at Peterlee in CID and Crime Prevention for many years and served at Teesside Airport as a Counter Terrorism Officer for the years prior to his retirement in 2011.
Graham was very proud to be a representative for Durham and British Police at cricket.
Graham leaves a wife, Joanne and was a loving father, father in law and brother and an all-round good family man and a loyal friend to many.
Donations in lieu of flowers have been requested to go to the Brain Tumour Trust.

The Funeral service took place at Sunderland Crematorium on Tuesday 18th August 2020 at 1pm
Due to Covid restrictions only thirty family members and close friends were allowed.
Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
