Death of a retired Police Officer : PC 1551 Barrie Cowey

It is with regret that we have to inform you of the death of a retired Police Officer : PC 1551 Barrie Cowey.
Barrie died on the 6^th September 2020.
Barrie was appointed on 28^th December 1965 and retired on the 26^th October 1993.
Barrie served at Peterlee, Hartlepool, Houghton le Spring, Motor Patrol retiring from Peterlee Town Office.
A private family Funeral will take place due to the current restrictions, at Durham Crematorium 16^th September at 14:00pm. 
You may pay your respects from outside the crematorium as long as social distancing rules are adhered to.
Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
