Death of Police Widow: Marjorie Johnson (nee Paxton)

It is with regret that we inform you of the death of Marjorie Johnson, who died peacefully on 20^th November 2021, aged 97 years. Marjorie was the wife of the late Sgt 184 Fred Johnson.

She is survived by sons, Ian, Brian and Neil and their families.
Prior to her marriage in April 1950, Marjorie worked as a clerk in the Magistrates Clerk’s Office at Bishop Auckland.
A Private Interment for Marjorie took place prior to a Service of  Thanksgiving in Elvet Methodist Church on 3^rd December 2021.
Donations in lieu of flowers were directed to North Road Methodist Church.
Our thoughts are with Marjorie’s family and friends at this sad time.
