It is with regret that we have to inform you of the death of Joyce Wilson, who passed away peacefully in University Hospital of North Durham on Thursday 20th February 2020, aged 93 years, following a short illness.
She was a resident of Mulberry Court Care Home, Durham; formerly of Newton Hall, Durham.
Joyce was the widow of Ex-NARPO member DC 1102 Kenneth Wilson (Died 1999). She is survived by sons Kevin and Ian (retired DC 1688), grandsons Mike and Timothy and great granddaughter Heidi. Grandson David Wilson, Mike’s twin brother was killed during active service in Basra, Iraq in 2008.
Friends attending the funeral service should meet at Durham Crematorium, South Road, Durham DH1 3TQ at 10.00am Thursday 5th March 2020.
